In 2010, HopeAlive268 began offering nutritious meals and love to approximately 28 at-risk children at a care point in Siteki. Care Points serve as safe places for vulnerable children to play and receive support from community volunteers who come daily to cook a meal while providing love and care. Today, we facilitate not only the feeding of orphaned, vulnerable, and abused children but also provide medical care and other basic necessities. Our Care services have now expanded to more than 7 Care Points across the region. We work alongside churches, government, police and local leaders to assess needs in the Lubombo Region and move to assist as many children as we can, specifically child-lead families who are alone and caring for themselves.
